This deals with uploads and what we should expect from posts on U2T!

When you upload something to the U2T tracker

We almost automatically think that you at least understood something about the band (ur a fan), and that you should do proud in what you upload (meaning that you upload unique,good quality,checked stuff with lots of info). This U2 Bootleg Torrent Tracker has been created for this purpose. But now in quiet times people sometimes upload things which do NOT follow this standard. We have said this before....and we will do so now again: Uploads will be banned without reason if they do not adhere to the following standards:

- Audio uploads NEED to be lossless in audio (with info on source etc...see the rules/faq)
- Video uploads NEED to be in DVD or HD quality (again see the rules and faq)
- All files need to have an info file with them!! And this info needs to be placed in the correct places!!
- You are RESEEDING same files as once downloaded from this tracker....do NOT change the files!!
- You have checked and double checked your upload...if it is not working...this might happen (it is all techno stuff), we will help you out, but we will in every email or message say...check this or this help file....READ THEM!!
- Commercial items are NOT allowed, and will get your account banned.
- Try to read first (rules/faqs) and do not jump into something without knowing...THIS SITE IS NOT FOR TRYING OUT!!!
- Stay with your post...and answer to comments that might follow...sometimes (like me) you learn something which helps you update your collection of U2 Bootlegs!!

In other words

Do it correct the first time!! Keep up the level of the posts at U2T, and do NOT do the following:
- upload something to this site to get you rating up...and which might have been uploaded long time ago (search first!!)
- just redo a file, name it an improvement for the same reason...
- etc etc....

Be original...be GREAT....post something we have not seen or heard before

I write this because I do NOT want U2T to be a dump site for converted/any/whatever recording...
This is a lossless audio/DVD-HD Video quality conscious site...and we (I) want this to stay that way!!

Please help us decide what the seeding standards should be for "High Definition" video on U2Torrents. Many of you are very knowledgeable about Hi Def and we would all greatly appreciate your comments.

Please post your opinions and any other information that we should add to the standards.

The hub has been offline and online for the last couple of weeks. There are two reasons for this.

1) When I was on holiday, the power supply of the server casing gave up on me...and of course this happens when you are not home

2) And 1 day after starting up the hub again (last Monday), we had the biggest internet disruption in history of my country, subsequently the internet was offline for more then 60 hours...and therefor so was the hub.

It is now running again, but I do need to buy a new case for the server. At this moment the server is running in a spare case...and running stable...but the case makes to much noise...

I apologize for the recent downtime...it was not planned. The hub will stay running for a long time to come....

The above clients are banned for one of the following reasons:  

A) hammering the site B) not following proper BT protocol or C) Both A & B

They might not be your favorite now, but when you configure them

This is notification that the request section has been pruned. All request made prior to January 1, 2008 have been purged. This was done to help clear out old requests, and to recapture some database space.

Feel free to repost a request, but please know that requests are usually purged after 3 months.
