With the new tour starting tonight in Barcelona, and lots of people wanting to hear the first sounds of the new tour...we the Mods would like to suggest the following:

- When you download, and finish your download...do NOT remove it from your torrents software!
- Try to limit your download speed, that is if you can wait a couple hours more...this will help you in keeping you ratio in tact...
- Seed it at long as possible, this will do 2 things: Keep your own RATIO ok, and help others in downloading like you have done.
- If you wanna burn it, or take it to your mobile device...just copy the files from the download location on your hard drive to another folder...but leave the original files in tact...so you can keep on seeding!!
- Remember people, you need to have a ratio higher then 0.25  Meaning you have to upload at least 25% of what you download
- Also again...duplicate accounts are not allowed...and might result in your account being banned, or worse...ip-ban etc..

First of all, this website is about sharing!!

This is why this topic is written to give you some upfront hints and tips...

Torrent sites are based on sharing and we only ask that you share at least 25% of what you take. Think of it as trading at least 1 CD for every 4 that you receive and you can see it is a very good deal.

Please go back to your original account ... and start seeding. Once your ratio is above 25% you will be able to download again.

What is SRE ("share ratio enforcement") and how does it work?
The SRE rules are based on an enforcement cycle. A cycle is 10.00 GB for users of Uploader rank, larger for VIPs. You can find out the size of your cycle on your Control Panel (click "User CP" in the upper right of any of our pages after you've logged in).

The U2 360° Tour will visit 14 cities across Europe including dates in Milan, Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Dublin, Chorzow, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, London, Sheffield and Glasgow before finishing at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on August 22.

The European tour will be followed by dates in North America beginning at Chicago\\\'s Soldier Field on September 12th, 2009.

Long-time U2 Show Director Willie Williams has worked again with architect Mark Fisher (ZooTV, PopMart, Elevation and Vertigo), to create an innovative 360° design which affords an unobstructed view for the audience.  U2 360° also marks the first time a band has toured in stadiums with such a unique and original structure.

From today U2 will be on BBC One, BBC Two, Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 4. There will also be a live U2 concert broadcast on Radio 1 on Friday and there's even a rumoured "impromptu" gig on top of Bush House, in homage to the Beatles' 1969 rooftop concert in central London.

This deals with uploads and what we should expect from posts on U2T!

When you upload something to the U2T tracker

We almost automatically think that you at least understood something about the band (ur a fan), and that you should do proud in what you upload (meaning that you upload unique,good quality,checked stuff with lots of info). This U2 Bootleg Torrent Tracker has been created for this purpose. But now in quiet times people sometimes upload things which do NOT follow this standard. We have said this before....and we will do so now again: Uploads will be banned without reason if they do not adhere to the following standards:

- Audio uploads NEED to be lossless in audio (with info on source etc...see the rules/faq)
- Video uploads NEED to be in DVD or HD quality (again see the rules and faq)
- All files need to have an info file with them!! And this info needs to be placed in the correct places!!
- You are RESEEDING same files as once downloaded from this tracker....do NOT change the files!!
- You have checked and double checked your upload...if it is not working...this might happen (it is all techno stuff), we will help you out, but we will in every email or message say...check this or this help file....READ THEM!!
- Commercial items are NOT allowed, and will get your account banned.
- Try to read first (rules/faqs) and do not jump into something without knowing...THIS SITE IS NOT FOR TRYING OUT!!!
- Stay with your post...and answer to comments that might follow...sometimes (like me) you learn something which helps you update your collection of U2 Bootlegs!!

In other words

Do it correct the first time!! Keep up the level of the posts at U2T, and do NOT do the following:
- upload something to this site to get you rating up...and which might have been uploaded long time ago (search first!!)
- just redo a file, name it an improvement for the same reason...
- etc etc....

Be original...be GREAT....post something we have not seen or heard before

I write this because I do NOT want U2T to be a dump site for converted/any/whatever recording...
This is a lossless audio/DVD-HD Video quality conscious site...and we (I) want this to stay that way!!
